Ingonish July 12-14

We rented a cottage in Ingonish which is around the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton. It has so much beautiful scenery. You have to travel up 2 mountains, Kelly's and Smoky to get there. The roads also have a lot of turns in them. We had to make sure that Kaitlyn had some gravel in her after her experience in PEI.

This is the ferry that we had to take across a short distance to get there. It is an old cable ferry. The water was very rough that day and that is why it is crooked.

Our new camera has a panarama setting on it and this is what the view was like from our cottage. Just beautiful!

Kaitlyn had a lot of fun coloring with those no mess markers. Anytime we were in the cottage that's all she wanted to do.

Kaitlyn and our friend Neil at Ingonish beach. As you can see, she didn't want to go in the water but she wanted to go in the water, if you know what I mean.

The morning we were leaving we got some pictures of Grandma & Grandpa. Notice the girls Cape Breton tartan kilts.

Pictures of us on our way down Smoky mountain.

We were going over the bridge leaving Cape Breton.
