When we were all together at Easter we had some family pictures done. It isn't very often that we are all able to be togther so we like it document it. We think they turned out great.

My New Hair Style

After many many many years of having the same style hair cut done, I decided to try something different. I am really glad that I did. I love the new style.

Here are some before pictures that show how bad I needed a hair cut.

And here are some after shots. As you all know my hair is not naturally straight so it looks kind of different curly.

Taking Care of Her New Teeth

Finally at the age of 16 months Kaitlyn cut her first two teeth. She did really well with them, barely fussed at all. Hopefully she will do just as well with the rest of them.

Now that they have started to arrive we have been teaching Kaitlyn how to take good care of them so that they stay healthy. She loves to brush her teeth. She always lets Mommy brush the teeth first and then she can do it herself.

Family Memories

The weather was beautiful for the weekend so we decided to do some family pictures outside in my sister's backyard. As you can tell it was hard to get the kids to cooperate at the same time but we think they came out great.

She sure loved holding Ashlynn. She always had to know where she was. I know that she really wanted her to be able to get down and play with her.

Dominoes

After the kids go to bed, the adults will play. Dominoes that is. Saturday night we had a game of dominoes and some drinks and food. It was great fun. I can't remember the exact time but I think it was around 1:30 before we ended the game.

Instrument of Choice

Something that Kaitlyn discovered at my sister's house was that her cousin Gregory had a set of drums. At first she wasn't quite sure about them but soon took a liking to them and wanted to play all the time. We always knew where she was by the sound of the drums.

She really liked it when Gregory would play the drums with her.

Easte Egg hunt

On Sunday morning there was an easter egg hunt for Kaitlyn and Gregory. The Easter Bunny hid plastic colored eggs filled with gold fish crackers or teddy grahams. The kids had fun trying to find them all.

Finding easter eggs is soooo exhausting.

Easter in Calgary

For Easter this year we drove to Calgary to stay with my sister and her family. My mom had been there since Feb 9th and she told me that my dad and my brother were flying out for the weekend. It was so great to be with my whole family for the Holiday.
