Easte Egg hunt

On Sunday morning there was an easter egg hunt for Kaitlyn and Gregory. The Easter Bunny hid plastic colored eggs filled with gold fish crackers or teddy grahams. The kids had fun trying to find them all.

Finding easter eggs is soooo exhausting.

Easter in Calgary

For Easter this year we drove to Calgary to stay with my sister and her family. My mom had been there since Feb 9th and she told me that my dad and my brother were flying out for the weekend. It was so great to be with my whole family for the Holiday.

Posing for a picture with Uncle Pete and her cousin Gregory. Have you ever seen someone more tired.

Uncle Pete had just given her a Rosie doll for Easter. When you hold both the hands it sings Ring Around the Rosie.

Playing with her cousin Gregory

She was just relaxing when Meadow the kitty came to visit.

She was enjoying some popsicle while I was holding her new baby cousin Ashlynn.

Fun Time

Every night after supper we have about half an hour to play and have fun before Kaitlyn has to start settling down for bed. She is always so lively and really makes us laugh. It's amazing how fast she learns new things.
She sure loves Buddy.

Smile for the camera.

Give me a big kiss!

Kaitlyn's New Food Favorites

Lately Kaitlyn has has been changing her tastes when it comes to food. For a while she never wanted to have any beef.....it was all about chicken. Then one night we got McDonald's and like always we bought her chicken nuggets and all she wanted was Daddy's cheeseburger. She also had to feed herself.

She really enjoyed her cheeseburger. All that was left was the pickle.

Every morning for breakfast Daddy has a shake and this morning Kaitlyn really wanted to share it with him. She loved it. She also loved that she was able to drink it from a big girl glass by herself.

For the longest time Kaitlyn has hated peas. I could never get her to eat them from the time that she started eating solid foods. All of a sudden when Daddy was eating them she really wanted them and loved them. Just in case it never happened again I had to get a picture.
Something that Kaitlyn has never had was hot dogs. We were looking for something different for lunch one weekend and we decided on hot dogs. She loved them. We cut it up for her with ketchup and mustard and she ate 2 of them. I couldn't believe it.

Our First Meeting

On Saturday January 5, 2008 Meg and I met for the first time. We have been talking online for 2 years now along with 3 other women, Lisa, Lisa and Holly, on a website that we joined while planning to get pregnant. Meg and the other women all live in the US so meeting isn't easy. Luckily Meg has family in Saskatoon, which is 3 hours from where I live, and was going to be there for a few days. I decided to take a day trip and go and meet her with Kaitlyn. Unfortunately her son Ronan wasn't able to come with her but we had a great visit. I'm looking forward to the next time she comes to Saskatoon and hopefully some day all 5 of us will be able to meet.

Barry's Beautiful Pictures

Our friend Barry came to visit for a few days after the New Year and we had a great visit. In Montreal (where he lives), he is taking a photography course and he takes beautiful pictures. The first 2 pictures are ones I took of him and Kaitlyn and then the rest are ones that he took while he was here. I just wanted to share them with you.

If I was to take these with my camera, they wouldn't have turned out this good. I love these pictures.

A cute little pout.
