On Saturday Dec 15th we attended a Christmas Party for my work. We always have a lot of fun at my staff parties and this year was just as fun.
The party is always held at my boss' house and is totally family orientated. We have a big Christmas dinner with turkey, potatoes, stuffing, veggies and gravy. Along with that we also have perogies, ham, salad & cabbage rolls. For dessert there was cut up fruit and marshmellows with a chocolate fountain for dipping. We always eat too much.

After we eat there is always a special visit from Santa. The kids really enjoy that. Then once Santa leaves, my boss gives us all gifts (staff and spouses) which are always great. Then we do a gift exchange between all of us. This can get really interesting because we do it one at a time and after someone picks a gift from under the tree the next person can steal that one or pick a new one.
I was really worried that Kaitlyn was going to be really shy and stuck to mine or Todd's side but she really surprised me. She only came to us when she needed a drink or a hug. She was a social butterfly and visited with everyone.

Santa arrived.

Kaitlyn did great with Santa. There was 4 kids there under the age of 2 and she was the only one that didn't cry. He asked her at one point if she wanted to touch his beard and she shook her head no. She got a bathtime toy from him.
Kaitlyn with Ashton...he is almost 2 years old.
Kirt (my boss) starting to give out the gifts. Every year they do something new and this year his wife thought it would be funny if he was given all the gifts unwrapped and had to guess who they belonged to. So we all (staff and spouses) had to pick out 3 things from the Sears catalogue that we would want and then his wife picked one for us. He guessed a few of them right but for the most part he got them wrong. If he got it wrong then we had the chance to trade with whoever received the gift that we wanted. I think at the end we all had the gift that was bought for us. It was quite funny.
