Summer Fun

There really hasn't been much going on lately so I decided to post some pictures that happened throughout the summer.


We bought Kaitlyn two little summer dresses that came with these headbands and I told Todd that they were just going in the garbage because I don't like them. He thought this would be a cute picture before we got rid of them.

After I finished putting away the laundry Kaitlyn climbed in and sat down to play with her toys. This is funny because I used to do that when I was a kid.

When we were home in NS Kaitlyn had a lot of fun playing with all of our good friends. This is her playing in the grass with Barry.

This was one of the many car rides that we had in NS. In order to see all 3 sets of Grandparents we had to do a lot of driving. It was worth it.


Nanny Rose bought this toy when Tracy and Gregory were visting last. Kaitlyn really seemed to enjoy it.

Buddy and Sydney really like that Kaitlyn is feeding herself now. They know that there will be lots of food on the floor for them to eat. Kaitlyn also has a lot of fun feeding the dogs.



Now that Kaitlyn can crawl she has spent a lot of time exploring things and places. These are just 2 of the places she got herself into. When I saw her under the exersaucer I had to watch and see if she could get out on her own. She did.


We have had a few BBQ's this summer and Kaitlyn always has a lot of fun hanging out with her Uncle Darren.


When we went to Calgary things were much different then they were the last time. Gregory wasn't too sure about kaitlyn this time because she could move. Last time he could get away from her but this time she followed.

Trip to Calgary

We decided to take a trip to Calgary, AB for the weekend to see my family. My brother had flown in the week before and is staying with my sister and her family. We had a great weekend and the kids had a lot of fun.

We had just arrived and my sister was introducing the kids again.

Not long after arriving and the kids were playing together.

Supper with the Premier of Saskatchewan

Sometime near the end of July we were invited to have supper with Lorne Clavert (Premier) and Maynard Sonntag (MLA). We were really honoured that we were invited. It was an awesome evening. They had an absolutely delicious supper and afterwards Todd, Darren, Neil Roston and John MacCormack played a little guitar with Lorne. Here are some of the pictures we received from that evening.

Swing Set

Yesterday I took Kaitlyn out on her swing set for a little fun. She just loves the swing and really enjoyed the slide too. I think she will have a lot of fun when she can go down the slide by herself.

Macaroni and Meat Sauce

Kaitlyn has been doing very well with her solid foods and the other day she had macaroni and meat sauce for the first time. I couldn't help but take some pictures of her because she was feeding herself and was covered in it. Luckily she was going to be having a bath right after.
