Santa!!!!!

We took the girls to get their pictures taken with Santa this year. They both did great.

All dressed up

Every year here the Hospital Foundation has their annual fundraiser around Christmas. As part of the festivities they have a night where your kids can get their pictures taken with Santa. We took the girls tonight to get that done. I will post those when I get them.

My friend Jen came over for a playdate last week with her kids, Olivia & Lincoln. Kaitlyn really enjoys it when we get company.

Oliva (2 years), Lincoln (2 months), Serina (3 months), Kaitlyn (3 years)

Halloween 2009

Kaitlyn decided that she wanted to be a lady bug for Halloween when we found the costume at Old Navy. She loved the costume and it was really warm. That was a good thing because it was snowy and cold on Halloween this year.

We decided to not get Serina a costume this year because she was only 3 months so we bought a onesie instead. My sister had this chicken costume that her kids wore their first Halloween so I borrowed it and boy did she look cute.

I went to Kaitlyn's daycare the day they all dressed up for their Halloween party. They all looked great.

Kaitlyn has always loved to put on make up and this is just one example of how wonderful of a job she does. She is actually getting better at it.

Serina has really started smiling a lot. At first it was really hard to capture the moment because she was too interested in the camera to keep smiling.

Serina Haley has arrived!

Well, our newest member of our family has finally made her arrival. Serina Haley Forbes was born on July 27th, 2009 at 12:27am. She weighed 6 lbs 1 oz. A lot like her sister she didn't take to the contractions well. Pretty much as soon as they hooked me up to the monitors they noticed that her heart rate was dropping too low for their liking. They watched that very closely and my Doctor even started making arrangements for a section because he thought that was what was going to happen. He decided to break my water to see if that would help and in 6 minutes I went from 5 to 10 cm and she was out. It all happened so fast. The first thing that Todd and I said was how much she looks like Kaitlyn. It isn't going to be hard to tell that they are sisters.
